Jerry Pasko was one of the original founding members of the Rally in the Valley having attended the first “garage” meeting at Bing Newton’s house. He served the Rally with tireless dedication, handling the wristband sales and registration.
He was a member of the Touch Heaven Canfield Church, where he was a deacon, and was on the worship team and active with the Men’s Ministry. Jerry was a talented musician and was founder of praise groups, Destiny and Acts.
Don Shirley was an active member of Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage, where he was involved with the men’s ministry and faithfully served as an usher and greeter. As part of the church leadership team with the Men of Faith, Don also helped host the annual Rally in the Valley.
Don’s joy at the fellowship with the men was contagious. He was a greeter at the Rally. He shook thousands of hands and welcomed thousands of men with his “Good morning young man” greeting.
